Western Station is a high-density multifamily residential development in Los Angeles where BMLA designed the rooftop gardens and pool deck to create vibrant outdoor amenity spaces that enhance urban living. The design maximizes limited rooftop areas through the integration of lush planting, comfortable seating, shade elements, and flexible gathering spaces that support recreation, relaxation, and social interaction. Thoughtfully selected drought-tolerant plantings and durable materials contribute to the project's sustainability while establishing a distinctive landscape identity that promotes resident well-being and fosters a strong sense of community above the city.
