AMERCO / U-Haul has been renovating existing industrial locations to expand their business to include self-storage units with their rental truck and moving services. BMLA has been contracted to help with various locations throughout Southern California and Northern California including San Juan Capistrano, Lake Forest, Temecula, Oxnard, Hayward, and Rancho Cordova. The scope of work includes turf removal and water reduction, aiming for a 50% savings or more. Each project location is unique in its configuration, existing conditions, and agency requirements. The BMLA design team has been able to research the guidelines and requirements for each city to provide the water reduction and curb appeal desired by the owner.
