EXPERIENCE

Baxter Miller is the founder of BMLA. He is responsible for the overall operation and design direction of the firm. His work ranges broadly from downtown redevelopment projects and national memorials to regional parks and streetscapes. Through Baxter's mentorship, vision, and development efforts, BMLA has emerged as a leader in innovative and vibrant designs in the Southern California market.

Baxter is extensively involved in the American Society of Landscape Architects at the national, state, and local level. He is an ASLA Fellow and has served on the ASLA National Membership team, ASLA National Nominating Committee, the California Council of ASLA, and as President of the Southern California Chapter multiple times. He also serves on the Riverside County Flood Control & Water Conservation Board, and The Riverside National Cemetery-Monuments and Memorials Committee Board. Baxter's dedication to the education of future Landscape Architects takes him to universities throughout Southern California. He si a frequent speaker and guest critic at USC and UCLA and serves on the Advisory Boards at both Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
